During three days in September, Glen Annie Golf Club hosts a nationwide Patriot Golf Day. A donation of a $1.00 or more during those three days plus a hit the green contest helps raise money for the educational scholarships of children and spouses of the military service men or women killed or disabled while serving this great nation.
During the month of May I offer free 10 minute lessons on specific days to help promote this wonderful game of golf.
Golf is a great role model for the young. Through private lesson, group training, junior clinics and junior golf outings I try to create a learning environment that will help the student grow not only as a golfer but send them on a path to becoming a fine young adult. Golf has many written rules and many unwritten rules just like life. It is the responsibility of a junior golfer to adhere to these rules, be true to ones self and respect the game of golf. My true passion and love for this game comes out in my juniors.
Many charitable organizations put on golfing events every year to help raise awareness and the needed funds for their causes. I have offered both my time and lesson gift certificates to help make their tournament more successful.
